Dain and Jennifer Smith, 2021 Deacon Co-Chairs

Jennifer and Dain Smith have been members of South Elkhorn for two years and have been serving as Deacons since January 2020. The two met in Cincinnati while in Bible College and married in 2016. They moved to central KY in 2017 to become students at Asbury Theological Seminary. Dain is pursuing a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies with a focus on the New Testament and Jennifer is pursuing a Master’s in Intercultural Studies. They both work at the Seminary as well: Dain teaches Greek as a professor and Jennifer is an Academic Advisor to Master’s students.
